Characterization of the influence of sufR on amino acid formation in C. glutamicum. Cultivation of WT TRP+++ derived trpP, sufR and double deletion strains and analysis regarding their growth, their l-tryptophan accumulation, and their l-valine accumulation. The strains were cultivated in 50 ml CGXII medium with 111 mM d-glucose in 500 ml baffled shake flasks. The cultivation was started with an OD600 = 0.8. l-tryptophan and l-valine concentrations were determined by HPLC. Mean values of biological triplicates are shown as diamonds, and standard deviations as lines
