  1. *Mu (M. ulcerans) culture recovery was compared for Tika-MGIT, Petroff-MGIT and Petroff-LJ with a Mu 16S rRNA result (defined as a positive for any of the three methods at any of the three time points (Week 0, 2 and 4)). This was used to compute the sensitivity with a 95% CI (Confidence interval). A comparison was also made between the final Culture result and Mu 16SrRNA results
